Dr. Cameron O’Connell, ND, FABNE is a naturopathic doctor with interests in longevity, cardiology, endocrinology and sexual health.

Dr. O'Connell graduated with a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in 2015 and completed her subsequent residency with TrueNorth Health Center. Her time at TrueNorth allowed her to mentor with Dr. Peter Sultana, M.D.; Dr. Michael Klaper, M.D.; Anthony Lim, M.D.; Dr. Alan Goldhamer, D.C. and Dr. Csilla Veress, N.D. .

In 2023, Dr. O’Connell became a naturopathic specialist in endocrinology by becoming a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology (FABNE).

One of Dr. O’Connell’s objectives is to help her patients find their own coordinates of health. She believes that the patient is an active partner in determining future wellness. Dr. O’Connell’s job is to help her clients cultivate and create both patient-driven preventative medicine and client-motivated treatment for chronic conditions.

Naturopathic Care Office Visit/Telemedicine

Naturopathic care is specially formulated to combine both modern medical advances with timeless medical techniques. Dr. O'Connell is able to work with patients in both California and Alaska. With recent advances in technology she is able to reach those who have less access to quality care via telemedicine and in-office visits.

Plant-Based Nutrition Consultation:

Dr O'Connell's extensive background in the implementation of a plant-based diet and its benefits was a primary focus of her residency at TrueNorth Health Center in Santa Rosa, CA. She is excited to bring this knowledge back with her to her home state of Alaska and to further its influence in California.

Sexual Health Consultation

One of Dr. O'Connell's main interests is women's sexual health. Having spent the past year focusing on how diet, exercise, herbs, bio-identical hormone therapy and new healthcare advances can be used to improve a patients life in this vital area of life, Dr. O'Connell has a unique perspective that she offers to her patients. She is happy to work with women of any age and their partners.

Health Optimization/Longevity

Starting off your time together with a tea and a chat, the session ends with new ideas on how to help you in day-to-day life. This session is not meant to address chronic medical issues but to help to boost performance and may be part of your subscription service.

Subscription Services

Dr. O’Connell is happy to announce the start of a subscription practice with Coordinates Health Care. She is still in the same location with Thrive Integrative Medicine but hopes to transition full time to this model. This opportunity should help to limit and cultivate a thriving community of patients where insurance no longer will dictate her ability to serve.
